I was saddened to hear of the untimely death of Chis this past Sunday. We were classmates in Grammer school , High School and neighbors at Hull Park. We worked construction during the summer of our B.C. graduation and he was a reliable co-worker and regular person. We continued our friednship over the years so much that he agreed to be a groomsman at my wedding and for that I am grateful.I regret that we lost touch over the following years but I trust he is in a better place now. Respectfully, J. Doyle Crider

Chris was always there to welcome us when we came to visit the family cottage on Tybee Island. Although we'd only be there a few of weeks a year, he remembered all our names! He'd also up date us on recent cottage visits by other family members, and on the local Tybee happenings. We will remember his friendly neighborly presence on Tybee.

We always enjoyed catching up on the latest news of who had done what on Tybee between our periodic visits. On one Easter visit Chris suprised us by delivering an early morning paper with a headline he knew we'd enjoy. We will miss moments like that.
