Captain Absalon Galapon Agustin, Jr., 41, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Georgetown, Exumas, Bahama Islands.
Absalon was born on October 25, 1968 in Maddela, Quirino, Philippines. He attended The Philippine Maritime Institute and was a Professional Mariner. He was the First Mate of the Motor Yacht Rebecca, having worked on the vessel for twelve years.
Absalon is survived by a host of loving family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, a memorial service will immediately follow the visitation.
Final services and burial will take place in the Philippines.
