Sally and the Nettles Family, I know the loss of your mother was devasting to the whole family. She was such a wonderful and generous person. Sally, I made a mistake, a huge one. I was in Savannah when your mother passed. My brother's mother-inlaw also passed and drove by the Tybee house and saw no cars. I had no idea that your mother also passed. I am so sorry.
- Susan Straight Strahan, Highlands, NC
Sally and family, Grady and I learned of your mother's recent passing last week during Connie Knight's own transition into eternal life. We were both surprised and saddened. Grady has such fond memories of all of you. I can only hope that Sarah and Connie are engaged in a great game of cards or some other joy filled action as they relish in heaven's endless peace. Comfort and love to all of you and your family.
- Deborah Wight-Knight, Warner Robins, GA
Dear Dr. Nettles and family, There is another angel in heaven. Sarah was a beautiful lady in so many ways, and I am glad that I have been blessed with coming to know both of you. Her smile was very special. And I will never forget the great love, dedication and faithfulness of Dr. Nettles in his daily visits to Sarah at Spanish Oaks. I will miss seeing you together at the table next to my mom. I also appreciate your many kindnesses to my mom, Dr. Nettles. May God's love and healing presence strengthen you at this time of loss. You and your family are in my prayers.
