Mr. Beall is one our distinguished and notable alums from the early days of Armstrong in the 'mansion' on Bull and Gaston. He was a man of wisdom and yet had a great sense of humor. He will be missed at our Golden Graduate reunions. We are certain that his name and memory will remain a part of our legacy. We hope to often have Mary continue her visits as a special guest on campus. Although we only saw Allen at the Tom Beall family gatherings, it was quite obvious how much he was respected and loved by family and close friends. Tom and MJ spoke of him often. He will be missed.

Mr. Beall will truly be missed by all retirees. He hired me Ernest in 1971 and I have always had great respect for him. He was an honorable person and I will miss him grately. Hope your knowing how much he was respected and loved will be a comfort at this time.

We Love you all. I have fond memories of Uncle Allen as a child when I'd visit Cindy. And also when he would take Cindy & I to Asbury we'd stop by the Krystal for those 10 and sometimes 12 hamburgers for $1 and mixed 'rainbow' sodas. Our prayers are with all of you. Love Angie & Bobby Chu

I am extremely sorry for your lost. Allen was a man of character and integrity. We all lose when someone of his statue passes on. He was one of the reasons I stayed at Savannah Electric for 40 years. He was a mentor, and, most of all, a friend.

We hope your memories of Allen will give you strength.
