Carmon  Harden

Carmon Harden, 87 passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Toombs County and made his home in Savannah for over 50 years before moving to Rincon to live with his daughter for the past 10 years.

Carmon was retired from Union Camp Corporation after 38 years of service.
Above anything and everything he was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and lived his life for his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Nell Garrett Harden.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Winda and Don Melton, of Rincon, and Wanda and Robert Folmar, of Pooler. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Melissa and Diego Sanso, Amy and Keith Egan, and Donnie and Kim Melton, great-grandchildren, Alex Sanso, Hunter Egan, Logan Egan, and Emily Melton, three step-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
