Martin "Marty" Andrew Dotson
Martin Andrew Dotson, 53, died at home Friday, August 27, 2010. He was born in Atlanta, GA on April 23, 1957 and lived in Savannah most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, J. Eugene Dotson, and his sister Pamela D. Chance.
He was a graduate of Benedictine Military School, attended the Citadel on a football scholarship, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Pharmacy.
He is survived by his son, Drew Dotson, his mother, Margaret M. Dotson, sister, Angela Cail Chip, brothers, Gene Dotson, Jr., Marie, Kevin Dotson Bunny, and Denny Dotson Carol, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2010 with a Vigil Service at 5:00 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 30, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Remembrances may be made to Benedictine Military School, 6502 Seawright Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
