Celebrating the life of
John Craig Gibson
January 09, 1925 - October 10, 2010
Mr. Gibson was born in New Rochelle, NY to Jean Craig Gibson and John Gibson.
Jack served in the US Navy during WWII and worked many years for Zim Container Service, a number of which were in the World Trade Center before transferring to the Savannah office in 1983.
Jack led a very active life. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, and even hang gliding. He was a member of the Hobie Cat Fleet of Tybee Island as well as the Forest City Gun Club where he enjoyed skeet shooting.
He is survived by Jean, his beloved wife of sixty years; son, James Linda of Forked River, NJ; three grandchildren, Kristi, Kyle, and Dr. Kathrine Gibson, and son David Andrea of San Jose, CA and three grandchildren, Drew, Hannah, and Chelsea.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
