Mrs. Ruth Young Knepton, 90, of Savannah entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a native of Brooklyn, New York, but made Savannah her home for the last 43 years. Always caring, she was a mother, mentor, and friend. She will be missed but we shall meet again some day.
Ruth is survived by her son, Peter, his granddaughter, Linda Morris and her children, Duncan, Ariel, and Gage.
Funeral services will be private.

Mrs. Knepton was a wonderful, caring woman and I will miss her dearly. I enjoyed hearing her stories of living and working in NYC. She had such a sense of humor and never failed to make me laugh. She was devoted to her husband and spoke so highly of her children, granddaughter and of course her cherished great-grands. All of us at Gentiva were truly priviledged to know her.
