Our prayers are for the whole family at this time of sorrow and loss. Many of us remember 'Kat' as a very giving person, even in the midst of her great personal health struggle. My fondest memory of her is watching her read to small kids at the November, 2009 Savannah Children's Book Festival in Forsyth Park. She really lit up while read- ing to a young boy - and got even more pleasure when he took the book from her and began reading to her. This is the way I will always remember her: showing personal inner strength and giving to others. -George Hubbs Rotary Club of Savannah South

- GEORGE HUBBS, SAVANNAH, GA

We can hear her voice now telling us about her childhood or her husband or her mother or her neices and nephews and never complaining about her circumstances. She made us feel like we were her most important clients when we had to be at the bottom of the list. What a gift she was in our lives.

- John and Deanna Beam, Savannah, GA

Kathleen Price, as the Immediate Past President of Rotary South, was an inspiration to all who were lucky enough to have met her. I count myself as lucky to have known her, talking to her several times about her illness, and being inspired forever by her courage, strength of character, and compassion for others. She will be missed terribly!

- Mel Mrochinski, Savannah, GA

God saw the road was getting tough, The hill was hard to climb He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered,'Peace be thine'. The weary hour, the days of pain The sleepness nights are passed, The ever patient worn-out frame Has found sweet rest at last. ...You are in my prayers... Nicole

Words can not express the sad feelings many of Kat's Rotary friends felt today at our annual golf tournament fund raiser for the Georgia Rotary Student Program. A huge crowd paused for a moment of silence before the tournament began in honor and memory of our past president for the 2009-10 Rotary year. Throughout Kat's leadership as club president, each member recognized her strong faith coupled with her dedication toward serving mankind with a true 'Service Above Self' attitude. We will remember Kat for many years as we recall how she provided love and compassion for all. We send Steven and family our deepest sympathy.

- Kenan J. Kern, Savannah, GA

Knowing Kathleen for many years was a joy and an inspiration. Her courage, hope, and faith throughout her long struggle were a testament to her strength of character. May God bless you with his grace and comfort. Nancy M. Manucy
