GUEST BOOK

Aunt Betsy was so funny. She never lost her sense of humor. I loved going to see her. My last memory of her is when I last visited her with cousin Caroline, and Caroline was fiddling around in her bedroom and picked up a bathrobe she didn't remember seeing ever before and said to her mum, 'Mother, I don't know this bathrobe.' Betsy's reply was 'Oh, want me to introduce you?'

Betsy Walker was outstanding for her graciousness and many strengths including her dry and hilarious sense of humor. As one of Emily's friends, I spent many nights at The Point and loved being around her. In recent years, my own dear mother Helen Lattimore shared the same dinner table with Betsy and their friends at Savannah Squares. We all adored wonderful Betsy, and her sense of humor was a sharp as ever. it was my great pleasure to see her again often. I'll miss her, and my husband John and I send our deep condolences to her family.

The many memories of Bradley Point and of Betsy and Jim and Jimbo, Emily and Caroline are etched in my memory forever. The love of and the zest for life by Betsy and Jim and Barbara and Ed are legendary. I hope they are all coming together in the heavenly kingdom and, with cocktails in hand, looking down rejoicing in the small part of the world they have created. Our love to Caroline, Emily and Jimbo. -Gordon and Roz Maner
