I've just learned of Maree's passing and am so very sorry for your loss. Some years ago, Maree came through Columbus in a big motorhome loaded with kids and grandkids. They were on an adventure and having a grand time.I will never forget the laughter she and my Mom shared as they sat at the kitchen table exchanging funny stories of their lives. They laughed non-stop for hours. Memories...this is the glue that holds us all together. I will remember Maree, for her sense of humor and great love for her family. She will be missed. ' To Live In The Hearts We Leave Behind Is Not To Die' - Thomas Campbell- This quote gave me comfort when my Mom passed-I pray it gives you some peace as well. Zeiglers, what a tremendous loss, not only for your family, but for all of her extended family and friends, Savannah, and the Bulldog Nation. She was her own person, and a pleasure to know and have conversations with. As a young college guy, when first we met, I knew that you did not pull anything over on Maree Zeigler. I never met a more family oriented person as her. She set a good example for others in how to be gracious, friendly, and keep the love of family and friends in the forefront of her thoughts. She will be missed. From Debbie and I, my best to the entire family.

She was such a great lady and probably the most family oriented person I've ever known. She even made my kids feel like family! I know she will be missed by her former students, who were privileged to have had her, as well as hosts of friends and loved ones whose lives will have an empty place without her. Today, Heaven has a new angel, with a canasta deck and plate of homemade cookies!
