Savannah- Jan Stephens Chambers, 61, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at Memorial University Medical Center.
She lived most of her life in Savannah and was a graduate of Groves High School. She attended Savannah University of Cosmetology and over the years owned and operated several beauty salons including Jan's Hair Salon and Headquarters. Jan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Chambers; daughter, Michele Rollf and her husband, Tom Lynah; son, Neal Rollf; grandchildren, Taylor Rollf, Lacey Edwards, Kayla Spence; great-grandchildren, Layla Rollf, Alexandra Edwards; and her devoted companion, Chewey.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
Remembrances may be made to Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute, 4700 Waters Ave., Savannah, GA 31404.
