Ellen was one of the ladies I played tennis with and against when I first came to The Landings 24 years ago. Ingrid was her partner, they were an awesome team. Yes, Ellen always looked stunning when she would get 'fixed up'. Know I asked her on several occasions to please show me how to tie a scarf. Also remember, she would play tennis in the cool weather in a long sleeve black cashmere sweater with holes in the elbows, I thought that was so cool. I remember when she was going to take up golf and purchased a nifty white golf bag. Didn't see her much in the last few years, but when I did, we always chatted for a bit and talked about old times.
