Mary  Moesch

Savannah- Mary Louise Moesch passed away in St. Joseph's Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family, on December 9, 2010 after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard William, to whom she had been married 55 years.
She is survived her sons, Richard William, Jr. Christine and Dean Vincent Julie, as well as three grandchildren, Dean Vincent, Jr., Jennifer Coyle and John Richard.
Louise was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late George and Helen Bengert. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Stuerenberg and her brother, George, Jr. She earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Cincinnati and taught at Windsor Forest Elementary School for over 30 years. She was an officer of the Windsor Forest Garden Club and served as a volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital. Louise resided for the past three years at Buckingham South, where she appreciated the care and support of all of the staff and residents. She was a loving mother and grandmother, whose tireless efforts and generosity supported them in all they did. The family would like to thank Dr. Judy Porter for her devoted care of Louise for over a decade and the dedicated staff at St. Joseph's Candler Hospital.
Visitation: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 12, 2010 with a Vigil Service at 4:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 13, 2010 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Louise's memory to the Social Apostolate, 502 E. Liberty St., Savannah, Georgia 31401.
