Grace Lewis Munday

SAVANNAH – Grace Lewis Munday, 98, died January 22, 2011,
She was a native of Savannah but traveled all over the world with her military husband. "Gracie", as she was affectionately known, is survived by her husband, Col. James S. Munday, USAF, Ret.; and two daughters, Betty Heery and Nancy Lee. She also leaves four grandchildren, John Heery III Diane, David Heery, Michael Notrica, and Julie Lee Garland Mark. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren.
Gracie's life will be celebrated at a private memorial service.

I met Mrs. Munday a couple of times and enjoyed it. Col. Jim Munday taught me to fly 35 years ago in Savannnah when I was a teenager. We flew out of Hunter Army Air Field. I greatly appreciated his mentorship. Thanks
