Miami Beach, Florida – Catherline "Kitty" Colson, 84, widow of the late Bernard Ray Colson, died February 12, 2011 at Miami Jewish Health System. The Phenix City, Alabama native spent most of her life in Florida before moving to Savannah in 1943. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Richard Colson Joan of Savannah, GA; daughter, Michele Colson Krell Hal of Sunny Isle Beach, FL; grandchildren, Richard Colson, Jr. Cheri and Yvette Worrell of Savannah, GA; Simone McCamery Dennis of Miami, FL; great grandchildren, Keely and Britt Worrell of Savannah, GA; Abijah and Ani-Halla Bailey of Miami, FL.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2011 in the Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Director with Revered Mike Myers, officiating.

Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
