So sad to hear of this... my thoughts and prayers are with you Frank.

- Ann Roberts, ,

I don't know if you will remember me, but I lived down the street on Warren Dr. Shirley Jones is my Aunt. Laura and I were friends throughout school. We drifted apart afterwards. I wish we hadn't. I am so sorry I didn't know that she was sick. I just learned of her passing today, the 9th. May God be with you all. Ann Martin Groover

I am saddened to learn of Laura's illness and death. I had the pleasure of teaching Laura at Groves High School. She was an excellent student -- bright, friendly and outgoing. I remember Laura fondly as a student and friend. Sincerely, Alfred Chassereau

Emma, I cannot fully comprehend this. I have tried to remember the laughter, all the nights we sat up pranking people on the phone, our good times 'under the boardwalk' at the beach and the sun in her green eyes. Those times seem like a moment ago-- I will truly miss her and think that she was a rare soul. I was fortunate to be her friend.

- Pat Blackburn Schernekau, Stockbridge, GA

Time goes by so fast. It seems like yesterday that my family was in Savannah and all the kids were playing. It's such a shame that time has moved us in such separate directions and we lose touch. I have thought of you all many times over the years and hoped one day I would make it there for another visit. Time is moving too fast. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this trying time and I know the sun will shine a little less bright now. Please remember that I think of you all and especially now. Love and condolences, Charlotte Walker King daughter of Willonese Parmer Walker

- Charlotte Walker King, Guthrie, OK
