SAVANNAH – Margaret Delgass Nelson, 95, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in Savannah.
Born August 21, 1915 in Moscow, Russia, she emigrated, as a young child, with her family to the United States, settling in New York City. Mrs. Nelson spent most of her life in New York before retiring and moving to Beaufort, NC where she was an avid bridge player. She moved to Savannah in 2008.
Surviving are her granddaughter, Rebecca Nelson; a nephew, Nick Delgass and his wife, Elizabeth; and Christa Spencer.
A private memorial service will be held.
