Celebrating the life of
Dawn W. Salisbury
August 02, 1956 - May 01, 2011
Dawn Renee Salisbury
Dawn Renee Wurzer Salisbury, 54, passed away on Sunday, May 1st, at Memorial University Medical Center. A loving wife and beloved mother and daughter, she left this world quietly after a brave battle with colon cancer.
She is survived by husband Scott Salisbury, daughter Melanie Salisbury, son Benjamin Salisbury, mother Dorothy Wurzer, siblings Dixie Cooper, Dean Wurzer, and Darla LaBray, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Dawn lived for her family, gave endlessly and selflessly, and will be missed for her devoted love, friendship, and strength. Though her body, weakened by her blessedly brief struggle, shall be no more, her spirit and memory endures in all of us.
Relations and friends are encouraged to attend a memorial service Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Final interment will occur at Green Hills Cemetery in San Pedro, California, near her family home. There she will rejoin her father, whom she sorely missed.
