GUEST BOOK

I met Bobbie through Savannah Newcomers Club and it started a friendship that lasted for over thirteen years: lunches at First City Club and throughout the city - I also enjoyed lunch with her mother, movies - she loved thrillers the best, Disney World trip - she knew it inside and out, water aerobics and e-mails. We shared other common interests: plants, cooking, needlework, Tybee beach and the love of real animals as well as Mickey Mouse. I remember how much she loved her cat Reggie. I also felt a special connection with her since she was born in New York City and I had close relatives born there. Today, I visited Tybee where she liked to eat a hotdog for lunch, sit on the beach and wear her NBC cap. Bobbie was a caring person who will be sadly missed.

I 'met' Bobbie online many years ago in the very early 1990s. We have, ever since then, been a member of an email group that oddly still exists. I miss her. I miss her 'don't sweat the small stuff' attitude, her chatter on our email group, her email laughter and light-heartedness, her caring, her sharing of stories of her trips, and even her recipes though I don't even like to cook. And to family and friends who knew her much better than I, my sincere condolences. Thanks for being you, Bobbie. I miss you.
