Savannah- Frankie Martin Noonan, 92, went home to be with her King, Saturday, June 25, 2011 after a long illness. She was born March 27, 1919 to the late James Franklin and Mattie Elizabeth Martin. She was a member of Coastal Cathedral Church of God where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years and was a member of the Women's Prayer Group. She was known as a "Prayer Warrior".
Frankie is survived by four children, Gail White, of Savannah, Neal Noonan, of Savannah, Barbara De La Housaye, of Diamond Bar, CA, and Frankie Ann Perry, of Ellabell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with The Reverend Dr. Dale Dyar officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests remembrances be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416 or the Orphanage Fund of Coastal Cathedral, 275 Berwick Blvd., Savannah, GA 31419.
