Michael “Dusty” J. Dottavio, Jr., 70, died peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC.
The Dover, NJ native was a longtime resident of Savannah before moving to Beaufort 10 years ago. Dusty traveled extensively while employed by the Boilmermaker's Union.
He was predeceased by his parents, Michael J. and Mary Dottavio.
Surviving are his two sons, Dominick and Michael Dottavio, III; his brother, Prescott Dottavio; a niece and many friends that will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
