Gaynelle Tanner Reardon
December 11, 1924 - August 19, 2011
SAVANNAH – Gaynelle Tanner Reardon, 86, died Friday, August 19, 2011, at Candler Hospital.
The Swainsboro native had lived in Savannah for most of her life and was of the Catholic faith. She was retired from Reardon Construction Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Reardon.
Surviving are two sisters, Wylene Bennett Louis of Rincon and Aremillis McMillan Eugene of Prattville, AL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Remo and Nellie Tanner, her sisters, Evelyn Powell and Barbara Jean Owens, and her brother, Roger Tanner.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, August 22, 2011, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Michelle and Dan Grovenstein, the staff of Azalealand Nursing Home, and the staff of Candler Hospital.
