Our thoughts are with the family. Jack was just a wonderful person and a joy to work with. We last saw Jack at the Union Camp Reunion, and enjoyed talking with him about his love of North Carolina and the times he spent there with the family. Jack will be deeply missed.

Dear Marjorie, Dale, Jackie and to all members of Jack's family. When I read the obituaries this morning, Gail and I were very sad to see that Jack had passed yesterday. Although he had suffered and fought a good and long fight, it's always to hard to lose someone you think so much of. Jack was a unique individual who was loved not only by his family and friends, but all those that worked with him during his many years with Union Camp. He was the one person who many of us who wanted to be a better manager, patterned ourselves after. As one person already mentioned, Jack was a Gentleman. Jack was a rare individual and will be greatly missed. Our best to the family, Regards, Charlie & Gail Peacock
