Aunt Carrie was a wonderful women, she was a true southern belle. I sure would love to have another one of her pound cakes. She will be sadly missed along with the other family members that have passed away. I remember my dad always saying that she used to whip the tar out of him for misbehaving, but knowing dad, he was probably talking when he should have been listening, and he was probably talking about sports. I will always love you Aunt Carrie. Vic Smith

- VICTOR F. SMITH, sUMMERVILLE, SC

What I remember most about my Aunt Carrie was her sweet nature and kind heart. She was the perfect Southern Lady! I loved going to her house with my cousin Laurie and playing dolls in the back bedroom. My Daddy would say dont you leave a mess and Aunt Carrie always said 'Now Bobby' they cant hurt a thing! My Daddy was the second youngest of the 7 children and called Aunt Carrie 'Sister' as she was the only girl. As sweet and ladylike as she was, she definately could handle those brothers of hers. Everyone of them adored her.You will be forever missed Aunt Carrie! I love you!
