Angus was my Godfather. He and Robbie were great friends to my family in Oxen Hill, many years ago. And my parents maintained that friendship after we moved away. Angus wore a lot of hats. He was a husband to Robbie, a father to his children, a grandfather, a reservist in the Navy, a federal employee, a religious man, a friend, and someone you could turn to for help. My memories of him are how he was someone on whom you could depend. When I was sick and recovering from surgery, Angus and I took a walk near my home. We talked about many things; our own mortality, finding meaning in life, plans we have and hope to achieve, and caring for our loved ones. Angus was a great man and he had a lot of wisdom and love to share with the world. He will be missed. He will always have a place in my heart. To Robbie, Tony, Greg and your extended families, my sincerest sympathies and condolences.

Robbie, precious memories, how they linger. The four of us have shared 35 years together, in churches, vacations, mountain top retreats, conferences, home groups, table fellowship. We will miss Angus, he was a gentle giant. Heaven's gain, our loss. Robbie, may the God of all comfort be with you and your family at this time.
