GUEST BOOK

Losing my brother, Gary, was unexpected. Gary and I, had spent a lot of time together discussing his future and how he was going to get there. He wanted so much to spend more time with Heather and his grandson's, Braddock and Cade. Heather, I will always be available to you if you ever need me. I love you always, Aunt Sandy

- Sandy Nicholson Hord, Statesboro, GA

Gary was always fun to be around. We became friends in the early 80's and we were always truthful with each other. He stayed in contact and he never changed from that fun personality even through his worst times. I miss him.

Chuck,Sandy,Ricky and Heather I know the pain you are going through right now because I'm going through the same pain. Only mine is deepened as I am 1000 miles away and can't be with you. Everyone tells me Gary is,'In a better place'. And I agree. He's with Rhonda again. But the place he left behind is a little emptier without him in it. Until we meet again, I love you Gary and will truely, truely miss you.

my heart is broken for we have lost another member of our family. There is no time or room to write all the memories of Gary for he was always with us at Thanksgiving and Christmas and all special occasions, both good and bad, until his wonderful, sweet and precious grandsons were born and came first, they were his pride and joy and the center of his world and that is the way it should be. He loved Dan,Heather and his two grandsons more than words could ever describe and I was proud of him for they helped him to turn his life around and he become a man they could truly be proud to call 'DAD and 'PAPA NICK'. I loved Gary dearly and know he is rejoicing in heaven with the ones he loved that were there to greet him with open arms. DOT

Heather and family, you have my deepest sympathy. My brother, Harry Pitts, and Gary were best friends since they were about 10 years old. Gary quickly became the brother Harry didn't have. We all loved Gary very much. I cherish the last time I talked to him. We laughed for the full 20 minutes, just sharing memories. We all get so caught up in our lives, we lose touch with people we care about. We've laughed together so much, and cried together too much. Rest in Peace, my 'little brother'.

Sandy, We send our heartfelt condolences. You and your family will be in our thoughts & prayers. Tom enjoyed seeing & talking with Gary a few times during his morning walks at the river. Wish there had been more time to get to know him better.

Gary made my mother and children laugh so much. He was such a good man. The camaraderie which existed with all those 'boys' way back then still exists today. It's amazing. We will all miss him. Love, Mary
