Savannah - Betty Marie Clayton Cail, 77, of Savannah went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October, 9th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Betty was born on August 23, 1934 to Adron and Irene Clayton. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. As a homemaker, her family was her life's calling. She enjoyed nothing more than cooking and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren loved spending time at "Maw Maw and Granddaddy's house" where fun and love abounded. There were always fresh baked goodies waiting and games to be played. She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert Spencer Cail, Sr., two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Spencer "Corky" Cail, Jr.,Kelly, William Gary Cail Kathy, and her six grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, Alex, Alyssa, Abby, and Clint.

A visitation will be held at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October, 11th.

A private burial will be held on Wednesday.

Remembrances may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Isle of Hope United Methodist Church Green House.
