SAVANNAH - Beverly Silva, long time resident of Savannah, quietly and peacefully passed away Monday October 17, 2011. Beverly was the wife of Raymond L. Silva, Jr., who predeceased her. Beverly's passing at the age of 89 was attributed to Alzheimer's Dementia.
Beverly was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church and has also affiliated with St. Luke United Methodist. She was a retired school crossing guard for the City of Savannah. She raised three sons, Johnny Bitter, her oldest, who preceded her in death, Steve Silva, who resides in Savannah, and David Silva, the youngest, who resides in Marietta. Beverly is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 20th, 6-8PM at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside service will be Friday, October 21st, 10AM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
