Ellen Feeney Conlon

Ellen Feeney Conlon, 65, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Edmund and Josephine Scanlon Feeney. She was a graduate of St. Brendan High School and for a period of time was employed by Chase Manhatten Bank. Above all, Mrs. Conlon was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She and her husband Dennis moved to Savannah in 2005 where they were communicants of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and supporters of Right to Life. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Barrett.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Dennis C. Conlon of Savannah; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and David Barrett of Lindenhurst, NY; son, James M. Conlon of Stamford, CT; brother, Gerard Feeney and his wife, Diane of Wallkill, NJ; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2011 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with The Monsignor P. James Costigan, Celebrant.
The burial will be in Lindenhurst, New York.
