Savannah -Rosemary Jenkins, 89, died peacefully Monday November 28, 2011, at Azalealand Nursing Home.

Rosemary was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and treasured friend. She was a lifelong resident of Tybee Island and Savannah and worked at Union Camp for 42 ½ years.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann O'Connor; son-in-law, Tony O'Connor, and granddaughter, Shae O'Connor.

A very special thank you to all the caregivers at Azalealand Nursing Home.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mrs. Jenkins name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
