Savannah- Josephine Wigner Richards, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Memorial University Medical Center.
She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on December 7, 1921 and moved to Savannah four months ago to be closer to her family. She was a resident at Summer Breeze on Wilmington Island. Her husband, George Richards preceded her in death in 2001.
Mrs. Richards is survived by her sons and a daughter–in-law, Gregory Richards of Savannah and George Michael Richards and his wife, Frankie of Columbia, SC.
A Graveside Service will be held at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
