Sandra  Killingsworth Jackson

Savannah- Sandra Killingsworth Jackson, 68, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at her residence after a long illness.

Sandra was a native and life long resident of Savannah. She graduated from Savannah High School and Nursing School at Memorial Medical University Center. For many years she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital and Ven Care Hospice before retiring in 2000. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her husband of twenty eight years, Robert Beverly Jackson, Jr. and brothers, Brian Young and John Killingsworth preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Ambrose Mark of Savannah, Carolyn Leigh Cross Robert of Greenville, SC, Sandra Lynn Sikes Milton of Savannah; son, Christopher Jackson Kristy of Midway, GA; sister, Susan McNeil of Atlanta, GA; brother, Steven Young of Savannah; eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Peter J. Hartmann officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.

Remembrances may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10 West 31st St., Savannah, GA 31401.
