John, Lucy, Will & Amy I just now came across the obit for your father by accident, and recognized the names of the children instantly. J, L & W, I knew your family when we were kids in Savannah. I am so sorry to hear of your Fathers passing. I remember him and your Mom vividly, and will never forget the warmth & kindness they extended to me when we were young. They were two of the finest people I can ever remember knowing, and I always harbored a very reverent and deep respect for them, long after you moved away. I know the love of your father will always radiate much warmth within your hearts, and I pray this warmth will flourish and nurture a golden bounty of memories you can cherish until the day you see them both again. I am sincerely, Your old friend, George E. Edenfield

John, Will, Amy & Lucy We were saddened to learn of George's death. We looked forward to seeing him each year at the reunion and enjoyed his stories of spending summers in White Springs when he and my mother were young. He will be missed and fondly remembered by all.

John, Will, Amy & Lucy Charles and I would like to express our sadness and condolances in the passing of your father. I only got to meet George briefly after taking over management at the end of October. I was immediately concerned and asked Charles did Mr. Schell have anyone to look after him? Charles assured me that he had two very devoted sons looking after him. Although our meeting was brief, I could tell your father was a man with a very warm and gentle spirit and he will be missed.
