SAVANNAH – Yvonne Edenfield, 78, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2011, after a brief illness.
The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a former member of Morningside Baptist Church. Mrs. Edenfield was the office manager for Audio Visual Resources.
She is survived by two daughters, Jamie Williams of Jacksonville, FL and Lorraine McAleer and her husband, Joseph, of Savannah; four grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
