I will miss Elisabeth, her high spirited outlook on life and her friendship. The first time I met Elisabeth she yelled at me for not brushing my shoes off at the entrance of the general store. The next day when I came to see her at the store she was waiting with a broom in hand at the door. We quickly became friends and joked about everything. Elisabeth was a good person who has lived on Daufuskie for many years and she was a friend to me. My thouthts and prayers will be with Elisabeth, Gerald and their family.

Elizabeth, you will always be in my thoughts- I will forever miss you. Remembering the good times we had growing up in Germany. Before our father found us after WWII living in the castle in Steinau, Krs. Schluechtern, where we would go sleigh riding and play in the court yard. But most of all, Elizabeth, you were always there for me. You were one of the smarter ones always answering for me questions of politics and news in general. One of my best memories of all was going to Daufuskie Is. for the yearly pig roast Gerald, your husband, gave to us and the others on Daufuskie Is. Peace with you my Elizabeth, and with ALL of my love. Dolli
