Dear Nancy, Patty and family, I have so many fond childhood memories involving 'Mrs. Parkerson'. As a little girl growing up in Tomoka Oaks I would often ride my bike over to her house to show her my latest art project, my painted clown face, or just to hang out with her and have some lemonade. She always graciously welcomed me into her home and was one of the loveliest, most kind neighbors imaginable. I have thought of her so many times over the years with such fondness. I don't have a single memory of her where she isn't smiling that lovely gracious smile and saying something kind in her sweet southern accent. She was such a wonderful woman and will be remembered lovingly forever. With sincere sympathy, Amy Wendelstedt Murad

Dear Nancy and Patty and family, Perhaps it will help to lessen the sorrow you are feeling to know so many of her friends share your grief. During the many years we were neighbors, she shared her smiles, recipes, advice, and lots of hours doing community service. She had a special way to bring the best out of all those around her. I have a needle work picture that hangs in my hall that was a special present she made for me. Every time I look at it I smile and remember the many happy times we shared. Lois truly was a woman of grace. My love for your mom will last as long as my memory of her. No one that knew her will ever forget her. I want to share my sympathy with you. With Love, Cheryl Maher

Dear Nancy and Patty and family--It was with a sad heart and happy memories that I remember your Mom. As a neighbor and fellow member of the Ormond Beach Woman's Club we shared many fun times. Lois was the epitome of a beautiful, gracious and kind Southern woman who is remembered with great affection. Just last night I ran into an old friend from the OBWC who asked about your Mom. I told her I had just read her obituary that morning. My heart goes out to you. God bless you all.

Dear Nancy, Patty and family, So sorry for your loss. Lois was a dear friend and neighbor. Loved having Nancy as a baby sitter for my sons. I have missed having Lois as a neighbor since she moved in 1990. Take care of yourselves. Lois is once again with Bill and she is at peace with the Lord. Norm passed 2005. Barbara and Sons

Dear grieving family, My wife and I are very sorry for your tremendous loss and would like to express our condolences to the family. We cannot imagine the great pain and sorrow you are experiencing during this most difficult time. When we lose someone we love we are left with a strong desire to see that loved one again. It's wonderful to know God has promised we will see our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 gives this wonderful reassurance: 'Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.' What a marvelous hope! Once again we wish to express our condolences for your loss. And although we cannot erase the pain and sorrow you are feeling, it is our hope that this can give you a small measure of comfort.
