Dear April and Family- I am so saddened by the news of April's passing. I met April a couple of years after my husband and I moved here in 2005. I was excited to have such a caring and wonderful friend. April had a glorious spirit and was one of the most deeply passionate people I have ever met. She loved her children more than anything on this earth and she was always there for me in times of strife and pain. I will never forget the wonderful times we had at the pool, laughing our way through the Savannah heat each summer. My heart goes out to her children and her loving parents. She loved her mother and father and was so proud to be their daughter. To Caroline and Will- There is nothing that any of us can say to make this feel better. Just know, that your mother was so proud of you and your sister. She loved you more than life itself. My heart and prayers are with you all, always. Sincerely- Katharine*
