Birdie and family, Pat and I Love how Joy loved us, as part of the family, always with the utmost respect. Joy was a very special part of my childhood growing up in West End. She was eight years older than me but was my very special friend. I remember thinking how beautiful and sweet she was as she spent many hours with my family. I had lost all contact with her until a friend sent me her obituary from the Pilot newspaper. I am so glad that she had a loving family for this is what she deserved. My thoughts and prayers are with those special to her.
