Love forever and always in my heart; I am very sad today. Always thought we would see each other one more time just cuz......Peace my dear friend,

- S, ,

I just heard about Scott's passing today and I am very sorry for your loss and deeply saddened. Scott and I were good friends in high school and he was a truly unique person whose fun personality, curiousity and incredible sense of humor left a lasting impression and positive influence on me and I'm sure many others!. We spent many a day going to salvage stores, flea markets, etc. rummaging for vinyl rock music albums, 8 track tapes and other treasures. Scott and I also worked at the local radio station together. I can still remember riding around in his old blue Falcon listening to Iron Buttlerfly cranked up loud on the 8-track tape! When I think about Scott, all I can do is smile because I can hear him make a witty remark or joke to lighten up any situation and just make you feel better. My family and I visited Savannah several years ago and I will always remember the lunch we had with Scott on the riverfront and the afternoon we spent visiting with him. Even my five year old at the time, took an instant liking to Scott! He was a great guy and a truly great friend! I will miss him very much! Larry Blakeney

I just learned of the passing of Scott today, I am so sorry for your loss. Scott and I were in school together at Taylorsville High School in the 70's and we had so much fun! Scott loved to ride around our little town as teenagers did, he loved photography and working on the high school annual staff. He was always full of fun, jokes and pranks! We so missed him when he and his family moved....no one could ever fill his place! My husband, Charlie and I visited Savannah, Ga in 2007 and I called Scott and he met us for dinner , we had a great reunion and didn't miss a beat in our friendship and conversation. Charlie remembered Scott from his 'Radio DJ' days and they had alot to talk about too. Scott told stories from our 'riding around' years and we all laughted til we cried! It was a great reunion for us, He proudly told us about his daughter and the new grandchild! Scott said his wife was on a business trip--so sorry we all never met... I send my heartfelt sympathy to his family....and I recall with great joy the fun we all had at THS. Scott was a true friend of mine and I cherrish the memories! Connie Smith Ware

Mary and Family, As a boy you don't actually see the impact a person will have on your life growing up. However, I can say that Scott brought many gifts to my life; the most important being laughter and humor. I will always cherish my quilt which will be a constant reminder of him and his abilities. I will never forget him. With caring thoughts, Kevin Farmer
