Wow! I just found this page and saw all of your posts. There are so many of you that meant so much to me because you were my 'big brother's' friends. You were all SOO good to me bc you loved Chris. I remember ALL of you :- and wanted to reach out and say that your words are unbelievably helpful to this family. Chris's wife and kids are unbelievably inspiring right now. It is very hard but they are all determined to follow the path they all started together. Please keep them, and my parents/Julie's family in your prayers. God bless all of you...so proud you were part of the legacy in both my family, and Chris's life.

I am so very sad to hear the news of Chris' death. I was an old high school friend of his from Augsburg and just spoke with Chris about a year ago. He spoke very proudly of his family and seemed to be in a good place in life. I will hold on dearly to the memories of the fun times we had back in Germany. My condolences go out to the entire Mayville family - My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Chris will be missed by many.

I was very, very sad to hear of Chris' death from my sister Suzanne. Our family lived next to the Mayville's in Augsburg,Germany in the late '70s'. Chris was a great guy to look up to and laugh with. He always made this, then awkward 8th grader feel welcome with the 'Big Kids'. Hard to believe that was so long ago. My most sincere condolences to his wife, children and the whole Mayville family! God Bless you all and guide you through this difficult time! Frank D'Aleo NY, NY
