He was one of my irfoavte, irfoavte teachers he made history come alive and fun! He was a major reason why I majored in history in college and why, today, I continue to read history books with a passion. He cared deeply about his students and stayed in touch with many of us for many years. I am deeply sad to learn of his passing, but the memories are warm and cheerful. Andy Watson '65
