Leonard  Griffin

SAVANNAH – Leonard Griffin, 61, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Candler Hospital.
He was born in Metter but lived most of his live in Savannah. His first job was with Dan Sheehan Construction Company and he continued as a paint contractor throughout his professional career. As a member of Immanuel Baptist Church he served as a deacon and R.A. Teacher. He was an avid fisherman and Nascar fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Edith Parrish Griffin and a brother Randy Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie E. Griffin; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Griffin Whitten Jon of Knoxville, TN., Melina Turner Randy of Atkoa, TN and Selena Michelle Graham Daniel, of Wesley Chapel, FL; grandchildren, Mathew Griffin Whitten and Ashley Whitten of Knoxville, TN, Austin and Brianna Turner of Atkoa, TN and the latest granddaughter, Eloise Michelle of Wesley Chapel, FL; sisters, Jessie Griffin, Geanett Tarver Lacey, Georgene Formby Tim, and brother, JoJo Griffin all of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 26th at 11:00 AM at the Hodgson Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors with Dr. Morgan Kerr officiating.
