Lydia Juanita Anderson Ketchum
February 17, 1922 - March 27, 2012
Lydia Juanita Ketchum passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Savannah Cottages at the age of 90.
She was born in Patterson, Georgia on February 17, 1922 and lived in Savannah since 1942. She attended Brunswick Business College where she earned her Associates Business Degree. During World War II, she worked as a welder in the shipyards doing her part in the war effort. Mrs. Ketchum worked at Oglethorpe Hospital and made her career as a bookkeeper at Karp and Associates, retiring after 30 years.
Surviving are her son, E.L. Barnard and his wife, Ingrid; daughter, Martha Elnita Todd and her husband, Curtis. She leaves behind six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
By her request, there will be no service.
