I am so sorry to learn of Jim's passing as I was looking for way to be in touch with him. He was a wonderful generous friend and support to me in our young teaching days in Marietta. Blessings to his mother and sister and niece whom he talked of warmly and often.

We will miss you very much. It came as a shock to me. I will miss all of your stories and pictures of your travels around the world. You will always be remembered as an excellent Psychology/Sociology teacher at Toombs County High. The students appreciated your sense of humor and your efforts to always make the class interesting and fun.
- Eric Gerrish, Lyons, GA
Thanks for being a 'guide' on the trips to Costa Rica, it was a good time. Also, for being a fellow teacher who cared about helping kids to see that the world is larger than they might realize.
- Michael Griffin, Lyons, GA
Will miss you and your wonderful tomatoes. Rest in Peace old friend. Julie
