Joan, we're so sorry to read of your mother's passing. Know you'll miss her greatly. You were so very close to her. She was a dear & precious Mother. Will be praying for God's comfort to you & the family & may He fill that void she leaves in your hearts. Please know you're in our thoughts & prayers.

Nani was a great Southern lady, who was always extremely kind and generous to me and my family. She always went out of her way to make me feel welcome and special, and always seemed to have our favorite treats on hand whenever we came to visit. She lives on in the many happy memories of family events including her and the children. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the family as you cope with your loss.

Ruby was my grandmother. We all called her 'Nani'. I am not sure who gave her that name but I think it was Beth or Lynn. Nani was extraordinary in every way. She cooked us wonderful meals all the time and made sure that my brother and I were taken care of when my parents were at work...she practically raised me and for that I am eternally grateful. Nani was a lady all the time and the best grandmother a girl could ever possibly ask for. She had a long, full, quality life and in her passing we are at peace. We know that we will see her again one day. Nani I love you always and forever and you will always hold the most precious of places deep inside my heart. Love, Angela

Gwen and I are deeply saddened by Aunt Ruby’s death on Saturday. I have many sweet memories of Aunt Ruby. I spent the first two years of my life in the home of Aunt Ruby and Uncle Herschel while my parents built their house next door. The next 16 years I was in and out of her home as much as my own. She was like a second mother to me, and Joan and Wayne like a sister and brother. I love Aunt Ruby very much and will miss her presence in my life. Blessings on you Joan, Wayne and families as you grieve the loss of the presence of your mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother.
