I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Nana Nichols. She was such a caring and compassionate lady and she loved her family so much. I remember many afternoons when Nana would take Katie to the eating area at Wal-Mart and my Mom and I would sit and chat with them. However, the sweetest memory I have of Mrs. Nichols was the day she got to see Katie marry her high school sweetheart. Again, there are no words to say how deeply sorry I am and she will be missed by many. May God provide you comfort during the days ahead. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 With love, Ed, Jennifer & Turner Burgess

Dear grieving family, My wife and I are very sorry for your tremendous loss and would like to express our condolences to the entire family. We cannot imagine the great pain and sorrow you are experiencing during this most difficult time. When we lose someone we love so dearly, we are left with a very strong desire to see that person again. It's wonderful to know that Jehovah God has promised we will see our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 gives this wonderful reassurance: 'Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.' What a marvelous hope! Once again we wish to express our condolences to the family. Although we cannot erase the pain and sorrow you are feeling, it is our hope that this can give you a small measure of comfort.

I am so glad to have known Nana. I only knew her for a short time, but the minute I met her, it was hugs from then on out. You could see the love in her eyes when she looked at Sandi and Katie. And even though her body had started to give up on her near the end, she kept her spunky spirit alive as ever. May her love for life and family live on in your hearts.
