Bettie Louise Malone Wells, 81, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Satilla Hospice House in Waycross. She was born in Savannah, daughter of the late Stanford and Lottie Tillman Malone. Mrs. Wells was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Webster Wells, Sr. and son, Joseph W. Wells.
Surviving are her children, Albert W. Wells, Jr. of Midway, GA; Marilyn France John of Savannah, GA; Ricky Wells Dee Edwards of Green Cove Springs, FL; Bettie Marie Thompson Lonnie of Blackshear, GA; Pat Iverson Earl of Midway, GA; sister, Ann Devane Floyd of Blountstown, FL; brothers, Bobby Olive Jean of Savannah, GA; George Olive Lanette of Atlanta, GA; Aaron Geiger Rita of Midway, GA; 17 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren , 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2012 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and our hearts ache for you as you mourn the loss of your mother. My memories of her go back to the times when all of our children were young and she would make the trip down from Midway and gather all the fixings for Easter baskets for all her little grand children. Her children and grands were her world. It was obvious to me that she loved you all so much.
