Deanie Morgan Whoberry passed from this life to a better one on May 12, 2012 at the age of 93.

Born in Savannah, Ga, 2/9/1919 and lived there until she graduated from Commercial High School in 1938. She lived in Brunswick, Ga, for over 20 years and in Florida for over 30 years, attended BBC, Missouri, and worked for the state of Kentucky.

She is survived by her daughter, Deanie Manning Marshburn and her husband, Roy Marshburn, Cary, NC; granddaughter, Melinda Morgan, Jacksonville, Fl; neice, Vivian Morgan Corll and her family, Ft Lauderdale, Fl.; her cousin, Marguerite Peggy Irwin, Louisville, Ky.
Services at Fox & Weeks in Savannah are on May 16th with burial to follow at Bonaventure Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 1:00 p.m. at Deermeadows Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Fl.
