Bruce James Kittle

Bruce James Kittle, 79, died May 28, 2012 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He entered the United States Air Force and served his country during the Korean War. While in the Air Force, he married Doris Parker and together, they had three children. They moved to Atlanta, GA where he worked with Reynolds Aluminum, selling to the the aerospace industry.

After marrying Claudia Newcomer, Bruce and she relocated to Savannah. He started several businesses, all involving the metals industry. He was a member of Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church, past commander of the Scottish American Military Society, member of the Coastal Scottish Society and American Legion Post No. 154.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Harlan C. and Janice J. Kittle, Step-Father, Fred W. Hepburn, Grandmother, Genevieve B. Moore, Brother, Raymond H. Kittle, Son, Douglas J. Kittle, and his second wife, Claudia Newcomer Kittle.

Surviving relatives are Daughter and Son-in-Law, Katherine K. and Robert A. LaPorte of Charleston, SC; Son and Daughter-in-Law, F. Kevin and Tami A. Kittle of Cape Coral, FL.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church conducted by the Reverend Andy Meeker.

Burial: Joanne Roberts Memorial Garden at Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church with United States Air Force Honors.

Remembrances: Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church, 450 North Cromwell Road, Savannah, GA 31410.
